The Hand-Bearing Illuminated Compass is a Solid-state LED illumination system that floods the compass capsule and sight line with soft light. The Compass is lightweight designed for easier bearing. The Hand-Bearing Illuminated Compass is stable, liquid-damped compass card graduated in 5-degree segments. It has bold graduations every 15 degrees. Obtain a bearing simply by aligning front and rear sights on an object and reading off bearing. The LED will last for the lifetime of the compass. Batteries, which are included, will last 10 times longer than with regular bulb.
The 144 Artificial Horizon comes with 2 sunshades, lid, and full directions. It answers the need of every sextant user who cannot depend on a natural sea horizon. Use for backyard practice & fog.
